Our Purpose: Bringing quality, safety, and sustainability to life.\nWhat are we looking for?\nThe Technician I is responsible for supporting engineers for testing and equipment/lab maintenance. This position will travel at least 25% of the time.\nSalary & Benefits Information\nIndividual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.\nIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat you’ll do:\nSet up tests, test equipment and test apparatus.\nPrepare test samples.\nPerform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations.\nInteract with customers in a professional manner including appearance and attitude\nDiligent safety practices, have knowledge of OSHA standards, and use of safety equipment as required by management\nWork closely with engineers and take directions to complete projects within certain policies and procedures\nDaily cleanup and maintenance of labs, testing equipment, samples, and organize all tools and materials\nAttend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.\nTroubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.\nObtaining and recording test data in accordance with standards\nPerforming basic analysis of test data and routine calculations\nPerform other work as required.\nThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
