Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.\nWhat are we looking for?\nThe Geotechnical Project Manager is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.\nSalary & Benefits Information:\nIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDirect and execute one or all of the following geotechnical project assignments but not limited to field exploration, laboratory services, engineering analysis, report preparation and report technical review.\nProvide quality control review of proposals and reports and direct operations in a manner to consistently meet commitments to the clients.\nActively participate in business development and marketing efforts while establishing and maintaining client relationships related to technical aspects of our client assignments.\nResponsible for the mentoring and training of senior and junior professional staff professionals.\nActively participate in relationship building with professional and technical organizations.\nMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering\n3+ years of progressive Geotechnical Engineering experience with active project management experience required\nExcellent communication, project management, and organizational skills are essential\nExcellent understanding and knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering and related disciplines with the ability and desire to provide creative and practical solutions to meet the client's needs\nExpected travel - less than 5% of the time\nValid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)\nPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:\nEngineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred\nIntertek: Total Quality.
