Our Purpose: Bringing quality, safety, and sustainability to life.\nWhat are we looking for?\nThe Modular Inspector is responsible for traveling to client manufacturing facilities and sites and conducting inspections per the approved quality procedures, plans and per the required state rules and regulations. This position will travel at least 80% of the time.\nShift/Schedule: [Shift hours, rotations, or days worked] (Exclude if not applicable)\nSalary & Benefits Information\nThe base wage or salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.\nIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPerform in-plant inspections: Inspect modular units, components, and building systems during manufacturing.\nVerify compliance: Compare work against approved drawings, specifications, engineering requirements, codes, and program standards.\nInspect construction and materials: Review concealed construction and verify materials, components, equipment, and assemblies meet approved requirements.\nMonitor quality control: Verify compliance with approved QA/QC procedures and review required production, inspection, and corrective-action records.\nDocument inspections: Prepare inspection reports, photographs, observations, and production \nSupport certification: Verify completed units meet applicable requirements before certification, labeling, or state insignia is authorized.\nConduct audits: Perform periodic plant audits and surveillance inspections to ensure continued \nCoordinate with stakeholders: Work with manufacturers, engineers, project managers, Intertek staff, \nTravel: Travel to manufacturing facilities throughout the U.S. and, when required, internationally.\nThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
