Our Purpose: Bringing quality, safety, and sustainability to life.\nWhat are we looking for?\nThe Professional Engineer is responsible for inspections, project document and report review. This position will travel at least 5% of the time.\nSalary & Benefits Information\nThe base wage or salary range for this position is $165,000-$185,000 annually. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.\nIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat you’ll do:\nReview, inspection to verify preparation and procedures as per contract documents\nInspection of construction, for structural stability, building envelope, etc.,\nPerform inspections for mechanical systems, sprinklers, etc.,\nSign off on applicable Technical Report forms\nEnsure that quality requirements are met on work sites as required and in conformance with the job specifications including, but not limited to:\nFoundations\nStructural components\nMechanical and energy code \nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelors’ degree in engineering (Civil or Structural)\nProfessional Engineering License in New York State\n5+ years directly related experience in the building inspection field\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience in structural stability and geotechnical is desired.\nIntertek: Total Quality.
