Our Purpose: Bringing quality, safety, and sustainability to life.\nWhat are we looking for?\nThe MT Group Project Manager is responsible for managing various large-scale private projects, invoicing, data entry, scheduling, customer service, report management, and various other administrative functions as needed.\nSalary & Benefits Information\nThe base wage or salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. In addition to competitive compensation packages, Intertek employees are eligible for a variety of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, medical plan options, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, tuition reimbursement, and more.\nWhat you’ll do:\nConduct and attend project meetings and maintain Client relationships, leverage and develop new project opportunities\nReview project setup, prepare advanced proposals for internal and external review and follow up\nComplete contract review and negotiation\nMonitor project budget and initiate change orders\nReview, Prepare and Submit invoices\nReview, prepare, and submit test reports\nPerform project close out duties\nEnsure field testing and inspections are scheduled and performed correctly and keep clients informed of progress\nSupervise and provide support to field and/or laboratory personnel\nHelp with equipment inventory, issues and/or replacement\nAssist with other lab, field and/or administrative duties as needed\nMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma\n5+ years' experience in Construction Materials Testing and/or Project Management experience\nUnderstand Construction Materials Testing Business\nValid Driver’s License and reliable driving record\nAbility to read and interpret construction plans and project specifications\nEffective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills\nMust be familiar with the local building codes and regulations\nAbility to lead and supervise others\nMust be able to work off shift and overtime as needed\nPreferred Requirements & Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field\nPMP Certification\n5+ years' experience in Construction Materials Testing project management experience\nIntertek: Total Quality.
