The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.\nMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:\n5 years' experience as a field technician / inspector in construction materials testing \nNICET Level II OR\nTXDOT Level 1A, 1B AND SB102 certifications\nValid driver’s license and reliable driving record\nAbility to travel up to 25% \nAbility to work off shifts and overtime\nAbility to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance\nAbility to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound\nAbility to kneel and squat occasionally\nAbility to walk and stand for long periods of time\nAbility to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures\nAbility to climb occasionally, and work at various heights\nPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nNICET Level II Soil, Concrete, & Asphalt \nICC and PT Level I / Level II \nIntertek: Total Quality.
