The Laboratory Technician maintains associated records, thus supporting the goal of providing a service to our clients that is accurate, timely and cost effective.\nSalary & Benefits Information\nIndividual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skillset, experience, qualifications, and other job-related duties.\nIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPerform numerous chemical and physical tests based on American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) methods or accepted industry standards in multiple test areas\nAssist with equipment calibration, maintenance and basic troubleshooting\nClean glassware and test equipment\nAssist with preparing reagents as needed\nRecord data on appropriate data sheets and reports data to LIMS system\nMaintain quality records, control charts, and lab supply inventories\nComply with safety, quality and housekeeping requirements\nParticipate in cross training as needed\nThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
