Belgrade team consists of 25 Java developers who are divided into squads and collaborating daily with colleagues from the UK. Knowledge and development are the strong sides of the team that is working on challenging projects with the continuous possibility to develop and grow further. In this role, you will work hands-on on the development of IPF-based applications with clients, using Java, Spring and Akka to deliver real-time payment solutions. You will contribute across the development lifecycle, solve complex engineering and implementation challenges, and work closely with clients throughout the delivery process.\nYour responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement IPF-based applications together with clients\n\nPlay a key role in product engineering, following TDD and BDD practices\n\nWrite high-quality code following established development standards and patterns\n\nContribute to design decisions and technical discussions within the engineering team\n\nTake ownership of engineering deliverables throughout the client delivery process\n\nResolve complex development and implementation issues and provide handover to IPF Support where required\n\nShare IPF best practices and support clients throughout the implementation process\n\nContribute to the IPF client knowledge base and help coach and support customers\n\nWork within an Agile/Kanban environment while continuously contributing to higher engineering and quality standards\n\nYour profile:\nStrong hands-on experience with Java 11+, Spring framework and related technologies\n\nGood understanding of asynchronous request handling\n\nExperience building highly available and resilient distributed systems\n\nExperience with event-sourced and event-driven solutions\n\nExperience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes\n\nExperience working in Agile environments such as Kanban or Scrum and with tools such as Jira and Confluence\n\nKnowledge of document-based data stores such as MongoDB\n\nPrevious experience with real-time messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS is an advantage\n\nExperience with Akka or another reactive framework is an advantage\n\nExperience with automated environment provisioning using Ansible is an advantage\n\nDevOps experience within highly transactional software environments is an advantage\n\nKnowledge and/or experience with Docker and Kubernetes
