IRC’s customer base numbers in the thousands. A fully staffed Consumer Service Call Center with agents in Long Beach, the Philippines and China handle consumer direct sales. Annual sales volume is significant, as well as seasonal in nature, necessitating extensive forecasting, tight controls, and detailed execution.\nThe ideal candidate will have prior experience in the consumer product sales and distribution industry, be highly analytical, and capable of leading an accounting team in a fast-paced, product-centric environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following.\nStrategic Finance & Business Support\nAct as a financial partner to the President and leadership team, contributing to long-term operational planning and business decision-making.\nAssess financial performance across key metrics and provide actionable insights aligned with business goals\nLead financial forecasting and budgeting processes, including variance forecast analysis and planning updates.\nFinancial Reporting & Compliance\nDeliver timely and accurate financial reports including profit & loss by company, cashflow statements, and forecast vs. budget reports.\nEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax obligations oversee the preparation and timely filing of all tax returns.\nOversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards.\nMonitor changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.\nServe as the key contact for external audits and oversee audit preparation and coordination.\nOperational Oversight & Internal Control\nDevelop and enforce internal controls, policies and procedures to support operational efficiency and financial integrity.\nEvaluate department workflows and identify opportunities to automate or streamline processes\nOversee the integrity of core financial systems, ensuring accurate data flow and reporting infrastructure, and controls across all accounting platforms.\nWork closely with HR to ensure regulatory compliance, and effective oversight of employee compensation and benefits.\nTreasury, Cash Management & Credit\nCoordinate cashflow planning and analysis to ensure ongoing funding for operational requirements, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.\nOversee banking relationships and the management of credit facilities.\nReview and authorize high-value disbursements, including large payables, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.\nManage AR oversight, including customer credit line decisions and credit risk evaluations.\nTeam Leadership\nSupervise and develop the finance team, credit team and accounting.\nPosition Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.\n8-12 years minimum experience as a Controller.\nCPA preferred but not required.\nBackground in consumer goods, wholesale, or distribution industries strongly preferred.\nSolid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and federal and state tax planning.\nExperience working with external auditors and managing audit processes.\nProficiency in accounting systems and ability to partner with IT for systems improvements or upgrades.\nStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nWillingness and ability to travel within the United States and internationally to support business operations.\nAbility to thrive in a hands-on, fast-moving, team-oriented environment.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nINTEX Recreation Corp. provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to any characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.\nINTEX Recreation Corp. is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application and hiring process.
