The Guest Room Supervisor will set the schedule for the other housekeepers and ensure all housekeepers are performing up to company standards. Guest Room Supervisoris required tofill inwhen other housekeepers are absent.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupervise and train all housekeeping staff according to company standard operating procedures\n\nSchedule housekeeping staff based on company needs\n\nEnsure all housekeepers are performing up to company standards\n\nEnsure all guest rooms are serviced and cleaned according to company standards\n\nInspect and verify that all vacant rooms are ready to sell prior to opening\n\nEstablish standards for work of housekeeping staff\n\nEnsure all housekeeping equipment is in good working order and notify General Manager if not\n\nFill-in when other housekeepers are absent\n\nMaintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing company standards and procedures\n\nEnsure adequate supplies of cleaning materials are available\n\nEnsure that all employee, public, and guest areas are kept clean\n\nNotify General Managerimmediatelyof any safety and/or security violations of policy\n\nNotify General Manager of any guest concerns\n\nMaintain superior customer service when interacting with guest\n\nReconcile daily paperwork with General Manager prior to end of shift\n\nEssential Qualifications:\nAbility to simultaneously manage multiple staff members efficiently\n\nAbility to use time management skills to effectivelyaccomplishtasks\n\nPossess good knowledge of housekeeping/laundry standard operating procedures and techniques\n\nAbility to follow instructions, directions and meet deadlines\n\nAbility to read, understandandinterpret information found in a variety of reports and other internal hotel information\n\nAbility to read,speakand write in an efficient manner to interact with guests and staff\n\nAbility to compose and express thoughts concisely to ensure effective communication\n\nAbility and flexibility to work long hours on a regular basis as business conditions demand\n\nAbility to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations and with time constraints\n\nAbility to work independently with little or no supervision\n\nPreferred Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education\nExperience levelsrequiredmay vary based on the size,volumeand character of hotel\n\nAny combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma\n\nAny other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge,skillsand abilities\n\nMinimum 1-year housekeeping experience with proven skill and performance or 6 months’ supervisory experience in rooms division or related position\n\nPossess good knowledge of housekeeping/laundry operations, cleaningstandardsand techniques\n\nAbility to step in and perform a variety of housekeeping/laundry positions in response to business needs\n\nAbility to visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas, etc. for quality in cleanliness and presentation\n\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements:\nRegularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\n\nThis position is occasionallyrequiredto sit; climb,balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl\n\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus.\n\nIndoor work with hard and carpeted surfaces\n\nStanding for eight (8) hour shifts\n\nExposure to extreme weather conditions,coldand heat\n\nPerks & Benefits\nEasy to follow training programs & supportive team throughout the onboarding process\n\nHealth, dental, vision,lifeand disability insurance for full-time employees\n\n401k with company match\n\nPTO for full-time employees\n\nSundays off and no late shifts!\n\nFlexible schedules\n\nWeekly payroll\n\nElectronic Acknowledgement:\nWhen selecting the “Accept” or “Acknowledge” box, Iam agreeingthat I have read, understand and agree to this policy.
