Program Planners/Schedulers to support a leading aerospace and defense client in Melbourne, Florida.\nThis position is fully onsite and requires candidates to work at the client’s Melbourne facility.\nThe ideal candidate brings planning and scheduling experience, experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and the ability to coordinate integrated plans and schedules across Finance, Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams.\nThis role supports the development, integration, and analysis of program schedules to identify risks, resolve scheduling conflicts, and provide actionable performance insights to program leadership.\nAn active U.S. government security clearance is mandatory.\nKey Responsibilities\nIntegrated Program Planning & Scheduling\nPrepare, develop, coordinate, and maintain the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support program objectives.\nEnsure program plans and schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated across functional organizations, including Finance, Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, and Quality.\nCoordinate schedule inputs, dependencies, and milestones across program teams.\nSupport planning activities and schedule reviews to maintain alignment with program requirements and delivery commitments.\nSchedule Analysis & Risk Management\nTrack program plans and schedules, assess progress, and identify performance variances.\nPerform schedule risk analysis and identify potential impacts to program milestones and completion dates.\nIdentify and resolve critical path issues, network logic conflicts, and scheduling constraints.\nSupport mitigation and recovery planning to address schedule risks and performance concerns.\nPerformance Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration\nUse Gantt charts, PERT charts, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to assess program progress.\nPrepare schedule reports and communicate performance trends, risks, and areas requiring intervention.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling issues and support informed program decisions.\nProvide program leadership with timely, accurate schedule information to help focus attention on critical activities.\nScheduling Tools & Systems\nSupport program planning, schedule maintenance, and analysis using Microsoft Project.\nUse Microsoft Office applications to analyze schedule data, prepare reports, and communicate program status.\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. citizenship required.\n Active U.S. government security clearance.\nEducation and relevant experience in business, finance, accounting, program controls, or a related industry field, meeting one of the following combinations:Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.\nMaster’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.\nAssociate degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.\nHigh school diploma or GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience.\n\nPlanning and scheduling experience.\nExperience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.\nStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.\nAvailability to work fully onsite in Melbourne, Florida.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the aerospace or defense industry.\nSchedule management experience and hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project.\nExperience working in a Microsoft Project Server environment.\nExcel macro development and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) skills.\nExperience with Deltek
