The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of Calypso, OTC derivatives, trade lifecycle, and Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT), along with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nThe role involves designing and executing functional and automated tests across Calypso front-to-back workflows, supporting regression testing, identifying defects, and working closely with development, business, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain functional and automated test cases for complex Calypso applications and multi-tier systems.\nPlan and execute automated regression test cycles for project implementations and BAU releases using Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT).\nDevelop, maintain, and execute CATT scripts covering end-to-end Calypso workflows.\nValidate Calypso functionality across trade booking, middle-office and back-office processing, payments, accounting, collateral management, regulatory reporting, and EOD batch processes.\nApply appropriate QA methodologies, testing techniques, and automation practices throughout the software development lifecycle.\nPerform detailed analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause investigation of application and test failures.\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other QA engineers to resolve defects and ensure successful delivery.\nAnalyze test results and application data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for quality improvement.\nIdentify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, testing processes, and overall product quality.\nMaintain clear test documentation, defect reports, execution results, and project-related QA artifacts.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n5+ years of experience in QA engineering/software testing, including testing complex multi-tiered applications.\n5+ years of experience in test design and execution, with strong understanding of testing methodologies and technologies.\n3+ years of hands-on Calypso experience across the front-to-back OTC trade lifecycle.\nStrong knowledge of OTC derivatives, particularly Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX Options, and Commodities.\nMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT).\nStrong experience planning and executing CATT-based automated regression testing, including script development and maintenance.\nGood understanding of trade booking, Middle Office, Back Office, payments, accounting, collateral management, regulatory reporting, and EOD processing.\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments and comfortable using standard UNIX utilities for testing and issue identification.\nKnowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C, or C++ is beneficial.\nFamiliarity with at least one frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.\nExperience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nUnderstanding of data mapping, data lineage, and data governance.\nPreferred Competencies\nStrong ownership and accountability with an outcome-focused approach.\nSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement in testing and application functionality.\nExperience mentoring or coordinating QA engineers or technical personnel is an advantage.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
