The role is primarily focused on backend engineering, with approximately 80% backend and 20% frontend responsibilities.\nThe ideal candidate should have strong experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL, along with working knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, Single-SPA, Jenkins, OpenShift, Bitbucket, and AWS. The candidate will work in an Agile environment and contribute across development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.\nKey Responsibilities\nBackend Development – 80%\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.\nBuild robust, secure, and high-performance REST APIs and microservices.\nImplement business logic, service integrations, exception handling, validation, and backend processing.\nDevelop reusable and maintainable code following Java and Spring Boot best practices.\nWork with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, stored procedures, and data integration.\nAnalyze and troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.\nParticipate in technical design discussions and contribute to application architecture decisions.\nPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to development and coding standards.\nWork closely with QA, DevOps, architects, product owners, and other engineering teams.\nFrontend Development – 20%\nDevelop and enhance user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.\nWork with existing Angular applications and integrate frontend components with backend REST APIs.\nSupport applications built using Single-SPA architecture.\nFamiliarity with Single-SPA is acceptable; strong hands-on expertise is preferred but not mandatory.\nTroubleshoot frontend issues and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services.\nDevOps & CI/CD\nDevelop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.\nDeploy and manage applications in OpenShift environments.\nWork with DevOps teams to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.\nTroubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues.\nSupport cloud-native application deployment using AWS and OpenShift technologies.\nCode Quality & Security\nFollow secure coding practices and enterprise development standards.\nUse SonarQube for code quality analysis and remediation.\nWork with Nexus IQ for software component and dependency security.\nAddress vulnerabilities identified through Fortify and other security scanning tools.\nEnsure application code meets security, quality, and compliance requirements.\nAgile & Collaboration\nWork within an Agile/Scrum development environment.\nUse Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, backlog management, and issue tracking.\nUse Bitbucket for source code management, branching, pull requests, and code collaboration.\nParticipate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and technical discussions.\nCollaborate effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n6+ years of relevant software development experience;
