Working as part of a highly skilled team, this position is responsible for fabricating, repairing, modifying, and restoring aircraft structural components in accordance with engineering specifications, regulatory requirements, and Alpine Aerotech's quality standards. As a Structures Technician, your craftsmanship and attention to detail help ensure helicopters remain airworthy, reliable, and capable of operating in some of the world's most demanding environments.\nThe quality of your work directly supports Alpine Aerotech's reputation as a global leader in helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nStructural Repair & Fabrication\nDesign, lay out, and perform structural repairs in accordance with Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Technical Bulletins (TBs), engineering drawings, and approved data.\n\nFabricate, assemble, and fit structural components to precise specifications while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and quality.\n\nPerform sheet metal repairs, structural modifications, and component fabrication across a variety of helicopter platforms.\n\nApply corrosion control, metal treatment, and preservation processes to maximize aircraft reliability and longevity.\n\nQuality & Regulatory Compliance\nInspect completed work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, engineering specifications, and Alpine Aerotech's quality standards.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation and records related to structural repairs, fabrication activities, and maintenance tasks.\n\nFollow all regulatory requirements, company procedures, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.\n\nTeamwork & Technical Excellence\nCollaborate with fellow technicians, inspectors, engineers, and leadership to achieve production goals while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.\n\nDemonstrate professionalism, craftsmanship, and technical excellence that supports Alpine Aerotech's reputation for delivering world-class helicopter maintenance services.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance.\n\nContinuously develop technical knowledge and stay current with evolving repair methods, materials, and industry best practices.\n\nWhat You'll Bring to Our Team\nGraduation from a Transport Canada accredited Aviation Structures program.\n\nAME-S Licence or a strong desire to pursue certification.\n\nExperience performing structural repairs, sheet metal fabrication, aircraft modifications, or related aviation structures work is considered an asset.\n\nStrong understanding of aircraft structures, fabrication techniques, corrosion control processes, and structural repair methodologies.\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, repair instructions, and approved technical data.\n\nValid Driver's Licence.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.\n\nProfessionalism, accountability, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with a commitment to ongoing learning and technical excellence.\n\nWhy You'll Choose Alpine Aerotech\nWe know skilled aviation professionals have options.
