This expansion coincides with the launch of our new 260+ acre mixed-use development, which will feature approximately 2,900 luxury multi-family units, as well as over 660,000 square feet of retail, office, entertainment, hospitality space, and other related commercial uses.\nIT SYSTEMS SUPPORT SPECIALIST POSITION; We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Specialist to provide both hands-on end-user support and assist with infrastructure-related projects across our growing portfolio of apartment communities. This role will split time between providing day-to-day technical support to employees, managing IT equipment and user setups, and assisting with the planning, installation, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure such as camera systems, access control, networking equipment, and community-wide Wi-Fi systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in help desk support, systems administration, and infrastructure troubleshooting, with the ability to collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers as needed.\nIT SYSTEMS SUPPORT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnd-User Support & Help Desk\nProvide Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and software applications.\nSupport onboarding and offboarding processes: new hire setup, account creation, software access, printer/server drive mapping, and hardware deployment.\nRecommend appropriate hardware/software configurations based on role requirements and order necessary equipment.\nMaintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and user access needs.\nTroubleshoot and resolve day-to-day hardware and software issues; escalate complex issues as appropriate.\nInfrastructure & Project Support\nAssist with the planning, installation, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure in new apartment community developments, including: Camera systems (CCTV/Surveillance): installation, positioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.\nCloud-based camera networks setup and support.\nAccess control systems: setup, maintenance, and problem resolution.\nNetworking: ensure internet connectivity in leasing offices, coordinate with ISPs/third-party providers to resolve connectivity or configuration issues.\nProvide input into IT infrastructure design during new construction projects, reviewing plans and recommending improvements.\nSupport cabling and network setup including Cat6 termination, Wi-Fi network setup, router placement, and network wiring for community Wi-Fi.\nSupport future IT office buildout, including server/storage upgrades and connectivity planning.\nSystems & Server Knowledge\nAdminister and troubleshoot on-premises storage (NAS) and support migration or upgrade efforts.\nUnderstand core server concepts (Active Directory, file sharing, permissions, backups, and user management).\nPlace and configure servers as required.\nCoordinate with third-party providers for advanced server management while maintaining in-house knowledge for day-to-day troubleshooting.\nGeneral IT Administration\nDocument IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.\nEnsure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.\nMaintain patching, updates, and basic cybersecurity hygiene on endpoints.\nPartner with external vendors and service providers to resolve issues and coordinate new technology rollouts.\nIT SYSTEMS SUPPORT SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS:\n3-5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a Level 2 or Systems Technician role.\nProficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).\nExperience with NAS or entry-level server administration.\nHands-on knowledge of camera/security systems and access control platforms preferred.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and networking.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to provide end-user training when needed.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities across help desk requests and project-based work.\nExperience with VoIP systems and troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with cloud-based solutions (Azure AD, OneDrive, SharePoint).\nBasic understanding of cybersecurity best practices (endpoint protection, MFA, phishing prevention).\nProject coordination experience in IT buildouts or system
