Lead the delivery of Intrum’s cloud transformation
Intrum is transforming its technology landscape and operating model to build a modern, cloud-first IT environment. As part of this journey, we are strengthening our end-to-end ownership of critical technology services while evolving towards a multi-vendor delivery model.
We are now looking for a Service Delivery Manager - CloudOpsServices to take ownership of key cloud infrastructure services and ensure they deliver business value, operational excellence, and a great user experience.
This is a highly visible role where you will work across technology teams, business stakeholders, and strategic partners to shape the future of cloud service delivery at Intrum.
The opportunity
As Service Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the performance, governance, financial management, and continuous improvement of cloud services built on Microsoft Azure. You will act as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring services remain secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
You will play a key role in a period of significant transformation, helping to establish modern ways of working, strengthen vendor partnerships, and drive service excellence across a complex international environment.
What you will do
Own and evolve cloud services
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned cloud services and ensure they meet business and operational requirements.
Drive service performance, availability, resilience, security, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute service improvement initiatives and roadmaps.
Manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure delivery against agreed commitments.
Oversee service performance, governance, risk management, and operational reviews.
Drive accountability across internal teams and external partners.
Drive operational excellence
Ensure service levels are achieved and continuously improved.
Support incident, problem, change, and service management processes.
Maintain clear service documentation, reporting, and governance structures.
Monitor service costs and budgets while identifying optimization opportunities.
Support business cases, investment planning, and value realization.
Provide meaningful performance, risk, and roadmap reporting to stakeholders.
Collaborate across the organization
Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, and suppliers.
Act as a trusted advisor for service-related decisions, priorities, and escalations.
Contribute to cloud transformation initiatives and cross-functional programmes.
What you bring
Experience
Proven experience in Service Delivery Management, IT Service Management, or a similar leadership role.
Experience managing enterprise infrastructure or cloud services in a complex environment.
Strong track record of vendor and stakeholder management.
Experience working with service governance, operational management, and continuous improvement.
Cloud and technical knowledge
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and enterprise cloud environments.
Knowledge of Azure governance, identity management, and security practices.
Experience with cloud networking, hybrid environments, and modern infrastructure operations.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud deployment practices.
Personal qualities
Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
Commercial mindset with the ability to balance cost, risk, and business value.
Excellent communication and influencing capabilities.
Analytical, structured, and results-oriented.
Passion for service excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in service delivery, IT operations, or related areas.
Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM practices; relevant certifications are advantageous.
Experience working in Agile and cross-functional environments.
