Simply put, you will grow by making a difference.\nThe role\nWe are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and operate AI solutions using text, voice and conversational interfaces. You will collaborate with colleagues across product, data, operations, sales, customer interaction, risk and compliance to deliver secure, reliable and useful AI solutions.\nThe role will report to Head of Data, AI, & Automation.\nLocation for this position is Stockholm (Sickla)\nHybrid work. We see that hybrid work, where we as employees can work either from home or from the office, creates opportunities to perform and work effectively in virtual and real environments.\nPurpose of role\nBuild reliable and scalable AI solutions that improve customer interactions, support employees and automate business processes. Turn emerging AI capabilities into production-ready services that are secure, measurable and easy to integrate with existing platforms.\nDesign and build AI applications using text, voice and conversational interfaces.\nDevelop agentic AI solutions that interact with data, tools and business systems.\nIntegrate AI services with platforms such as Genesys, ElevenLabs or similar technologies.\nBuild solutions using advanced AI models provided through APIs.\nEnsure strong performance for Swedish text, speech and audio.\nTake AI solutions from prototype to production, including testing, deployment and monitoring.\nEvaluate solution quality, reliability, response time and cost.\nImprove solutions based on user feedback and operational results.\nApply security, data protection and responsible AI practices.\nDocument technical solutions and support knowledge sharing across teams.\nWork with business and technology teams to identify and deliver valuable AI use cases.\nYour Background\nYou have a degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, data science, AI or a related field.\nWe believe you also have:\nExperience building and operating AI-enabled applications.\nStrong programming skills, preferably in Python.\nExperience working with advanced AI models through APIs.\nExperience with text, speech, audio or conversational AI, preferably in Swedish.\nExperience building agentic AI solutions that interact with tools, data and business systems.\nExperience across the AI development lifecycle, including testing, deployment and monitoring.\nExperience integrating with communication, contact-centre or voice platforms such as Genesys, ElevenLabs or similar.\nUnderstanding of APIs, cloud platforms and modern software engineering practices.\nAwareness of security, data protection and responsible AI.\nGood communication and collaboration skills.\nExperience from financial services, customer service or another regulated industry is an advantage, but not essential.\nWho are you\nWe at Intrum want to contribute to an inclusive and diverse working life.
