You'll be the design counterpart to Product and Engineering leadership, shaping the experience strategy for one of Intuit's most important bets in services and the accountant ecosystem.\nThe portfolio spans QuickBooks Live expert services, the ProPartner and loyalty program, and the co-serve experiences that connect firms to their clients through the Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS).\nYour mandate is bigger than designing individual services. You'll help evolve QuickBooks Live and ProPartner into a connected co-serve platform. One that helps small businesses grow and succeed by orchestrating the full power of Intuit's ecosystem: accountants (customers in their own right, served through IAS), our expert network (QuickBooks Live), and our partner program (ProPartner), delivering an outcome no competitor can match.\nThis is a role for a design leader who operates across strategy, systems, and craft, and who knows how to make experiences involving real money, human expertise, and a delicate relationship between Intuit, accountants, and small businesses feel remarkably clear, trustworthy, and human.\nResponsibilities\nWhat you'll do\nShape the co-serve experience\nSet the experience vision across QuickBooks Live and ProPartner\n\nTranslate the co-serve strategy into differentiated, cohesive customer experiences that serve small businesses through their accountants\n\nConnect the journey end to end: how a business or its accountant discovers the service, through onboarding, ongoing bookkeeping, and the insights that come back\n\nBuild scalable systems across direct, expert-assisted, and accountant-led surfaces\n\nDefine AI-native service experiences\nShape AI + human-in-the-loop experiences, from AI-led support to expert-led review and guidance\n\nMake AI interactions transparent, useful, and trustworthy in moments that affect a customer's livelihood\n\nBalance intelligent automation with human expertise and customer agency\n\nPartner with Product and Engineering to turn emerging capabilities into customer value\n\nRaise the craft bar\nSet a high bar for interaction, visual, and motion design\n\nDeliver cohesive, polished experiences across QuickBooks, IAS, and partner surfaces\n\nStay close to the work through clear creative direction and hands-on leadership\n\nFoster a culture of critique, iteration, and shared accountability\n\nBuild an exceptional design team\nLead, coach, and grow a team of designers across QuickBooks Live and ProPartner\n\nCreate clarity around vision, quality, ownership, and impact\n\nDevelop designers through direct feedback, coaching, and stretch opportunities\n\nBuild a culture grounded in craft, curiosity, and accountability\n\nSpend real time in the accountant community, one of the most rewarding parts of this role, and turn what you learn into design decisions the community can feel\n\nQualifications\nQualifications\nExperience designing services, human-in-the-loop, or marketplace experiences, where people, not just software, are part of the product\n\nA hands-on point of view on AI-native product design, and clear thinking about how AI and human expertise combine in high-stakes workflows\n\nSignificant experience leading product design and building high-performing design teams\n\nProven ability to set strategic direction while staying close to the details of the work\n\nStrong point of view on interaction design, systems thinking, usability, and craft\n\nExperience with SMB, accounting, fintech, or another complex, high-trust domain, or the ability to get fluent fast\n\nTrack record of aligning Product, Engineering, Services & Operations, Research, Risk, Legal, and Compliance partners around a shared experience vision\n\nStrong coaching and people leadership skills, with a track record of raising the quality of both the work and the team\n\nWhy this role matters\nSmall businesses already trust Intuit with the heart of how they run: their books, their payments, their payroll.
