The right candidate for this role is someone who has a strong technical, product and programming background and has worked in an agile environment.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for the design and architecture of the initiative\n\nResponsible for engineering and operational excellence for the team’s deliverables\n\nAct in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems\n\nEnd to end engineering, quality focus with world class engineering and operational excellence.\n\nInnovation Champion - creative ways of solving customer issues within constraints\n\nWork cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results\n\nTroubleshoots complex issues and effectively manages stakeholder expectations through clear communication and proactive updates.\n\nExperience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies\n\nBe an effective communicator\n\nQualifications\nQualifications\n5-8 years of professional software engineering experience, with solid grounding in distributed systems or backend platform development.\n\nBS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.\n\nStrong Object Oriented Programming concepts.\n\nStrong experience in back end programming in Java / Java EE, Springboot\n\nExperience working with RAG technologies and LLM frameworks, LLM APIs, embedding models, and vector databases or architecting custom agentic frameworks.\n\nHands-on Experience experience in Server Side Technologies\n\nHands-on Experience in AWS Cloud technologies and Kubernetes\n\nProgressive experience in AI/ML, Gen AI and LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) and prompt engineering principles.\n\nExperience designing and architecting autonomous / Agentic AI systems (e.g., multi-agent frameworks, self-optimizing systems, or LLM-driven decision engines).\n\nExperience in handling mission critical services and platform - an added advantage\n\nSolid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and nontechnical audiences\n\nExperience in monitoring for service performance and failures and diagnosing root cause\n\nAbility to dis-ambiguate at large scale to deliver solutions for complex problems.\n\nAbility for rapid experimentation and productizing.\n\nUnderstand machine learning principles (training, validation, etc.)\n\nIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
