This is a hybrid role with the expectation of working from our Toronto office 3 days per week.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, use cases and develop prototypes, or proof of concepts.\nDevelop the components that they are responsible for a given deliverable with guidance.\nActively seeks and incorporates code review feedback.\nEnsure adherence to coding standards\nIdentify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize architecture & code.\nActively stay abreast of industry best practices, share learnings, and experiment and apply cutting edge technologies.\nRoughly 90% hands-on coding and code reviews.\nResolve defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nFoundational understanding of Agile development, object-oriented design, and programming principles.\nCoursework, internships, personal projects, or academic experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, etc.).\nBasic knowledge of back end (Java/Python based stack), front-end web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with frameworks or tools is a plus.\nStrong written, verbal, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nAwareness of AI concepts and a basic understanding of capabilities like Generative AI.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new priorities, tools, and technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
