You will have opportunities to learn and apply concepts such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and distributed systems.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain backend applications, services, and RESTful APIs using Java, Kotlin, or Python , ReactJS and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or FastAPI.\nWrite clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following established engineering standards and best practices.\nCollaborate with senior engineers and Product Managers to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nParticipate in technical design discussions and contribute to the implementation of scalable and reliable backend services.\nDevelop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, correctness, and reliability.\nApply software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).\nWork with relational databases, write efficient SQL queries, and understand database transactions and data consistency.\nDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.\nParticipate in code reviews, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve code quality.\nContribute to performance optimization, monitoring, and reliability improvements of backend services.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality features.\nTake ownership of assigned tasks and features, ensuring timely delivery with appropriate testing and documentation.\nLearn and contribute to production support, incident investigation, and root cause analysis with guidance from experienced engineers.\nUse agentic development tools to deliver features in a fast paced environment\nQualifications\n0-2 years of professional software development experience, preferably in fullstack engineering.\nStrong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Java, Kotlin, or Python, ReactJS\nExperience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or FastAPI.\nGood understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software engineering fundamentals.\nHands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.\nWorking knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and basic database design concepts.\nUnderstanding of database transactions, ACID properties, and data consistency principles\nFamiliarity with unit testing, debugging, and writing testable, maintainable code.\nBasic understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.\nFamiliarity with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD fundamentals.\nGood understanding of agentic software development tools\nUnderstanding of Agile software development methodologies.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nGood verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively within a team.\nWillingness to learn new technologies, accept feedback, and continuously improve technical skills.\nIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
