Our aim is to give every individual at Intuit a voice by providing them a platform where they can test their ideas and have data from their experiments backing their ideas.\nWe have:\nAn opportunity for you to influence the experimentation program at Intuit.\n\nAn opportunity for you to enable innovation across Intuit with your contributions to the experimentation platform\n\nAn opportunity to work with the latest technology and frameworks.\n\nAn opportunity to work with a collaborative, customer-obsessed, and diverse engineering team.\n\nResponsibilities\nYou will partner closely with a world-class org of Engineering, ML, Search, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics practitioners who work together to create a variety of capabilities for Intuit to be more successful in its decision-making and product creation\n\nYou will help drive innovations through effective identification and application of analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning\n\nThis is a high-impact role in which you will have a direct influence on how product decisions are made\n\nEffectively identify and apply analytics, causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning techniques for given business problems\n\nLead the design, analysis, and interpretation of experiments Proactively perform data exploration on engagement behaviors to discover future opportunities\n\nIdentify, compute and validate the appropriate metrics to measure success in a product area\n\nCultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders from product, engineering, operations, design, consumer research, etc\n\nPresent your research and insights to all levels of the company\n\nQualifications\nBS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics,Engineering or related quantitative field\n\n8+ years of coding experience in Java, Javascript, Go or equivalent\n\n8+ years of experience designing and operating high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems that process data at petabyte scale\n\nPrior experience focused on experiment design and/or A/B testing at scale\n\nAble to demonstrate application of the statistical underpinnings of experimentation: hypothesis testing, p-values, causal inference, etc\n\nFamiliar with statistical analysis and programming languages (e.g. R / Python)\n\nProven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in data warehouse design and data modeling.\n\nExpertise in SQL and experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or similar.\n\nExperience with data visualization tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.\n\nExperience building reusable frameworks, SDKs, or platform libraries consumed by other engineering teams - you think about developer experience as a product\n\nStrong programming skills in Python, Java, SQL and Scala.\n\nExperience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud\n\nFamiliarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in data analysis.\n\nAbility to work independently and partner with cross functional teams to manage end to end product development\n\nAbility to communicate technical and statistical concepts clearly and concisely among audiences at many different levels\n\nIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
