This role partners closely with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure materials, schedules, and production activities align with program commitments.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction Planning & Scheduling\nMaintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) within the ERP system. \nExecute and analyze MRP (Material Requirements Planning). \nBalance production demand, capacity, and material availability. \nManage long-lead material planning (12-24+ months). \nMonitor production schedules and resolve material or capacity constraints. \nERP & Data Management\nManage production and work orders throughout their lifecycle. \nMaintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ERP master data. \nMonitor MRP exception messages and resolve data discrepancies. \nTrack inventory, WIP, and material shortages. \nEnsure data integrity across ERP, PLM, MES, and related systems. \nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCoordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Program Management. \nFacilitate production planning meetings and communicate schedule risks. \nSupport KPI reporting, dashboards, and root cause analysis for planning and data issues. \nDrive continuous improvement of planning processes and system accuracy. \nSkills We Are Looking For\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of ERP transactions, MRP/MPS, BOMs, and production planning. \nAdvanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools. \nExperience with capacity planning, inventory management, and data validation. \nUnderstanding of ERP integrations (PLM, MES) and data flow between systems. \nIndustry Knowledge\nConfiguration management and serialized inventory. \nAS9100/ISO quality systems. \nAerospace manufacturing, traceability, and government contract requirements. \nCore Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration. \nProcess improvement and continuous improvement mindset. \nHigh attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. \nWork Environment\nAerospace manufacturing environment with occasional cleanroom access. \nCombination of office and manufacturing floor work. \nFast-paced, deadline-driven program environment with cross-functional collaboration. \nRequired Qualifications\nMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree. \n5+ years of production planning, scheduling, or materials management experience. \n3+ years of hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar). \nManufacturing floor experience in production control, inventory, or material management. \nPreferred Qualifications\nAPICS CPIM or CSCP certification. \nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. \nExperience with spacecraft or satellite manufacturing. \nERP implementations or system migrations. \nExperience with inventory control, quality inspection, or cycle counting. \n\nIn support of pay transparency at Lanteris Space Systems, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.\n\n•The base pay for this position within California is: $87,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually.\n\nFor all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.\nWe offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
