This role can also be based remotely in the US. In this role, you will work on a variety of challenging projects including NASA’s Artemis program, the Power Propulsion Element. You will lead the verification and validation campaigns for flight software and simulation systems.\nIntuitive Machines is a leading space infrastructure company that builds spacecraft, connects networks, and operates infrastructure-as-a-service for commercial, civil, and national security customers. With a proven track record across the space domain, the Company, through organic growth and portfolio expansion, has built over 300 spacecraft, delivered over 260 kilograms of payload to the lunar surface, and provided precision navigation expertise that has guided spacecraft across our solar system.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and execute comprehensive software verification plans and procedures for flight software, including software on payload and customer furnished equipment (CFE).\nDevelop and execute requirement and use case/scenario based test procedures in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL)environment and document test results to ensure that software system requirements are met.\nSupport V&V (verification and validation) life cycle and technical roadmap for flight software testing and defines the overarching validation strategy across test phases.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and champion test automation that reduces human error and manual intervention\nServe as a subject matter expert and technical authority for test processes and representing organization in Test Preparation and Build Delivery Reviews.\nFamiliarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems)\nMinimum requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.\n15 years of software V&V experience\nExperience authoring test procedures, driving process improvements and managing defects/non-conformances\nExperience with technical writing, and cross-functional stakeholder management\nAbility to travel to Palo Alto, CA occasionally\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nC/C++ skills, Python for automation scripts\nExperience working in a continuous build and test environment\nKnowledge of CI/CD and issue tracking tools such as the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and Gitlab\nStrong verbal communication skills\n\nIn support of pay transparency at Lanteris Space Systems, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
