The work includes proposal efforts, front end design, detailed analyses and development, and integration and testing throughout the program lifecycle.\nResponsibilities\nSupports the development of definition of RF hardware (Travelling Wave Tube Amplifiers, Multiplexers, Receivers, etc.) requirements \nParticipates in design trades, Engineering Review boards, and provides technical inputs as assigned \nParticipates in the design, development, and analysis of satellite communications system requirements and systems specifications for a defined phase of a subsystem \nParticipates in the development of system test requirements and procedures, and performs routine system test analysis \nPrepares standard design documentation for review by more senior engineers \nSupports system level test activities \nAssists in the development and analysis of system test requirements and systems specifications for the RF payload subsystem \nPerforms system integration trade studies and analysis under the direction of more senior engineers \nIdentifies technical problems and recommends solutions \nHands on involvement in the testing and troubleshooting of the RF payload during spacecraft integration and test \nEvaluates RF payload test data vs. design requirements and, based on the results, recommends further actions \nWillingness to travel up to 10% of the time and the ability to work off shifts and overtime as needed \nRequired Education, Experience & Technical Competencies:\nMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident\nB.S. degree or the equivalent in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field \nPreferred Qualifications:\nUp to one year work experience desirable \nUnderstanding of mathematics and physics as they relate to electrical systems and components \nProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office \nSome experience with C++, VBA, or Python desirable \n\nIn support of pay transparency at Lanteris Space Systems, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.\n\n•The base pay for this position within California is: $77,000.00 - $128,000.00 annually.\n\nFor all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.\nWe offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
