In this role, you will design passive solutions (Filters, Diplexer, IMUX, OMUX) and active solutions (amplifiers, frequency converter, oscillators) in support of a wide range of space applications. This role is critical in the development of new satellites -- these subsystems are the building blocks of complex satellites.\nResponsibilities:\nAct as the Electrical Design Engineer for a variety of RF subsystems\nDetermine applicable specifications for each design, development, test, and/or production activity\nProvide technical consultation to management and to other engineering and scientific personnel\nDesign, document and report on engineering progress on assigned projects\nProvide technical analysis and recommendations\nSupport production of hardware during the production phase\nPrepare and deliver briefings and issue reports on activities, analyses, experiments, and all work performed\nIntroduce innovative and creative techniques in area of specialty\nMinimum Requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.\nBachelor’s degree in electrical or aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics or a related discipline. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree\n5 years of related experience. A masters degree may account for two additional years of experience\n Preferred Qualifications:\nThorough knowledge in a specific engineering or scientific field in RF technologies and engineering\nCAD experience with CST, ADS, AWR\nRF simulation and EM analyses\nExperience interfacing with customers and/or vendors in providing solutions for technical problems\nExperience working with multiple engineering disciplines\nContribute to major technical proposal efforts\n\nIn support of pay transparency at Lanteris Space Systems, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.\n\n•The base pay for this position within California is: $104,000.00 - $173,000.00 annually.\n\nFor all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.\nWe offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
