Intuitive is a global medical technology company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, and a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery. It develops, manufactures, and markets minimally invasive care systems, including the da Vinci surgical system and the Ion endoluminal system. The company helps physicians and hospitals perform complex procedures with enhanced precision, visualization, and control.

It started with a simple idea: what if surgery could be less invasive and recovery less painful? Nearly 30 years later, that question still fuels everything we do at Intuitive. As a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care, our technologies-like the da Vinci surgical system and Ion -have transformed how care is delivered for millions of patients worldwide.

We’re a team of engineers, clinicians, and innovators united by one purpose: to make surgery smarter, safer, and more human. Every day, our work helps care teams perform with greater precision and patients recover faster, improving outcomes around the world.

The problems we solve demand creativity, rigor, and collaboration. The work is challenging, but deeply meaningful-because every improvement we make has the potential to change a life.

If you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, you’ll find your purpose here.

Primary Function of Position

The Supply Chain Digital Product Manager will report to the Source Center of Excellence Leader and will be accountable for the business ownership and delivery of defined enterprise supply chain digital product capabilities. This includes supplier collaboration platforms such as Blue Yonder, E2open, iValua, SAP Ariba, SAP, and similar enterprise tools.

This role will lead assigned capabilities from discovery through implementation, release, adoption, and continuous improvement. Working within the enterprise product vision and roadmap, the Product Manager will own capability-level priorities, backlog decisions, business acceptance, adoption outcomes, and value realization. The role will lead cross-functional work across IT, Source COE, buyers, planners, suppliers, and external software partners.

The purpose of this role is to deliver scalable, user-centered digital capabilities that reduce manual friction, improve process visibility, strengthen supply continuity, and produce measurable business value.

Essential Job Duties

  • Own one or more defined supply chain digital product capabilities throughout discovery, design, implementation, release, adoption, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead complex cross-functional implementation workstreams, establishing business outcomes, scope, milestones, decision rights, dependencies, risks, and delivery plans.

  • Translate business problems into desired product outcomes and approve product requirements, user stories, business rules, process designs, and acceptance criteria for assigned capabilities.

  • Own and prioritize the backlog for assigned capabilities in alignment with the enterprise product roadmap, balancing business value, user needs, compliance, risk, dependencies, and implementation effort.

  • Make capability-level trade-off decisions and escalate matters that affect enterprise architecture, major investment, portfolio priorities, or broader product standards.

  • Own business acceptance and release readiness for assigned capabilities, ensuring testing, data and integration validation, material defects, controls, training, cutover, and support readiness are addressed before launch.

  • Own the adoption and stabilization plan for assigned capabilities, including stakeholder alignment, communications, user and supplier onboarding, training readiness, support models, and post-launch feedback loops.

  • Establish capability-level success targets, monitor adoption and product performance, and lead corrective actions when expected business outcomes are not achieved.

  • Create and maintain user journey maps and end-to-end process designs that identify friction, simplify workflows, and guide capability priorities.

  • Manage IT and vendor delivery for assigned capabilities, including commitments, delivery quality, risks, escalations, release alignment, and enhancement execution.

  • Lead product governance and decision forums, communicating priorities, trade-offs, status, risks, recommendations, and decisions to business, IT, supplier, and leadership stakeholders.

  • Guide analysts and workstream contributors by assigning defined work, reviewing deliverables, resolving ambiguity, and providing coaching and direction.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Demonstrated experience owning a defined digital product capability or leading an end-to-end enterprise software implementation from discovery through launch and adoption.

  • Experience prioritizing a product backlog and making trade-off decisions based on business value, user needs, risk, compliance, dependencies, and delivery effort.

  • Strong ability to translate complex business problems into product outcomes, requirements, user stories, process designs, acceptance criteria, and implementation decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional work across business teams, IT, suppliers, software vendors, and other stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Strong enterprise software implementation experience, including data and integration readiness, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, release planning, cutover, and post-launch stabilization.

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to establish KPIs, interpret adoption and performance trends, assess value realization, and drive corrective action.

  • Experience managing vendor or IT delivery commitments, resolving escalations, and maintaining alignment between business needs and technical execution.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills with the ability to present clear decisions, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to business users, technical teams, suppliers, and leadership.

Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline), or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Practical experience with digital product management, enterprise software implementation, business process transformation, project leadership, or supply chain systems.

  • Working knowledge of product management fundamentals, Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, user stories, requirements management, user acceptance testing, release management, and change adoption.

  • Familiarity with process mapping, customer journey mapping, root cause analysis, data analysis, business case development, and change management methods.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Practical knowledge of supplier collaboration, procurement, or planning platforms such as Blue Yonder, E2open, iValua, SAP Ariba, Coupa, One Network, SAP, or similar enterprise tools.

  • Experience with SAP, Tableau, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planner, Asana, Lucid, Visio, Figma, or comparable product, data, and process tools.

  • Experience owning supplier onboarding, supplier portal adoption, buyer or planner workflows, purchase order collaboration, forecast collaboration, or supplier commit capabilities.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Institute, Agile, Lean, APICS/ASCM, PMP, or similar certification preferred but not required.

  • Experience working in medical device, regulated manufacturing, global supply chain, procurement, planning, or supplier management environments.
