Interns gain exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, SEC reporting, internal controls, technical accounting and accounting systems while leading a capstone project that creates lasting business value.\nEssential Job Duties\nSupport accounting and financial reporting activities including close, reconciliations and analysis.\n\nAssist with internal controls, compliance and accounting governance activities.\n\nSupport process improvement and automation initiatives.\n\nAnalyze accounting data and reporting outputs to identify trends and opportunities.\n\nCollaborate, as needed, with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and IT teams.\n\nLead a capstone project and present recommendations to leadership.\n\n Required Skills and Experience\nAbility to communicate effectively (written, oral)\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills including a collaborative work style\n\nHigh integrity with the ability to handle confidential information and data appropriately\n\nSuperb attention to detail\n\nDeep desire to learn and acquire new skills\n\nSelf-motivated, curious, and comfortable with ambiguous challenges\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint\n\n3.0+ GPA (please list on resume)\n\nAuthorization to work in the US is a prerequisite for employment\n\nSponsorship of work visa is not available\n\nUniversity Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:\nUniversity Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.\n\nInternship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June.
