This engineer may have to work in different areas, such as electrical, mechanical, laser and/or computer engineering.\nEssential Job Duties\nApply engineering concepts to the optimization of equipment and procedures to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability of equipment.\nWork in a close collaboration with multiple departments and inter sites across all the company.\nDetermine and analyze trends for equipment performance and define / implement improvement.\nDesign, re-design and integrate of new equipment/component and make sure equipment achieves the improvement.\nSeeking better and more suitable technologies for improving production processes.\nPerform installation, repair, and upkeep services for a variety of equipment either in the fields of mechanics and electronics.\nPerform IQOQPQ related to their design, redesign or integration of new equipment being installed in the facilities.\nSupporting the teaching and training of other team members to develop the needed skills and knowledge in specialized equipment including but not limited to diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, calibrating, or any other related.\nBe the support when an emergency/unscheduled problem and repair related to their equipment implementation / improvement to ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.\nDefine spare parts for the complex equipment and fulfill that definition, as required.\n Required Skills and Experience\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in relevant electrical/mechanical assembly, test, troubleshooting, repair and with medical experience preferred.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEnglish 80% read, written, and spoken.\nMachining experience is a plus.\nDemonstrated mechanical electronics aptitude.\nDemonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex electronic/mechanical/laser/vision system equipment.\nBlueprint reading and interpretation are a must.\nKnowledge and experience in the use of special mechanical, electronics, and measuring equipment.\nAbility to integrate mechatronics components such as sensors, motors, pneumatics, and motion and vision control components.\nCAD and SolidWorks proficient.\nExperience with Microsoft Office programs.\nRequired Education and Training\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronic engineering or similar preferred.\nTravel: Position may require 15% travel, primarily within the United States.\nWorking Conditions\nNone\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nKnowledge in internal equipment like IPTs, laser welders, laser markers, and 3D print is a plus to the position.\n Intuitive es un empleador que brinda igualdad de oportunidades de empleo.
