You will serve as the subject matter expert for Intuitive's Digital solutions - designing global curricula, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and enabling services and support teams to confidently implement, troubleshoot, and communicate the value of our digital products.\nThis role bridges technology, education, and customer success, ensuring teams worldwide can deliver consistent, high-quality training experiences.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nGlobal Training Design & Delivery\nDesign, develop, and maintain a global training curriculum that standardizes technical competencies across commercial roles, applying instructional design best practices (needs analysis, learning objectives, assessment, and iteration).\nFacilitate training through in-person, virtual, and Train-the-Trainer formats, covering network, data, security, design, and product-specific workflows.\nDevelop onboarding and continuous learning programs for digital solution deployments, minimizing escalation and accelerating adoption.\nMeasure and track training effectiveness, using data to drive continuous improvement in learner proficiency.\nManage multiple complex training projects and priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.\nAct as the program manager for global programs which includes, building agendas, managing logistics, owning participant communication, setting up test environments, etc.\nTechnical Expertise & Support\nAct as a functional expert for Digital Technical Support Tier 1 and 2.\nBuild and maintain training on networked solution configurations, upgrades, and enhancements.\nTroubleshoot and teach resolution methods for complex connectivity, access, and software application issues, with particular depth in TCP/IP and 802.11 networking protocols.\nServe as subject matter expert on technical specifications and requirements for digital solutions; maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures.\nMaintain in-depth knowledge of core IT technologies - network systems, operating systems, databases, access controls, change control, application/system development, IT operations, incident response, monitoring, and asset management.\nMaintain proficiency in Intuitive business applications (Astra, SFDC, Artemis, etc.).\nCreate training content for deployment across Commercial and Distributor Teams, with focused support for Digital Technical Support, Field Service, Customer Service, and Technical Support.\nCreate content, including leader guides, E-learning modules, videos, performance support materials, etc.\nFacilitation & Cross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with the Digital Learning Team, Digital Product Owners, Engineers, and Support teams to ensure training aligns with product requirements and updates. This includes staying in close partnership with global stakeholders to understand their business needs.\nEstablish regular collaboration with product development and product management teams to stay current on evolving digital infrastructure, software upgrades, and product enhancements.\nCollaborate with Sales, Service, Cybersecurity, and customer-facing teams to identify and address training needs.\nLiaise with local and corporate teams on new product introductions, upgrades, and related activities, serving as the technical subject matter expert.\n Required Qualifications\nInstructional Design & Facilitation\nExperience in an educational or training role preferred; if you lack this background, you should be curious and eager to learn - you will be required to complete an introductory instructional design course.\nExcellent communication and facilitation skills - able to present technical concepts to audiences ranging from service engineers to CTO/CIO-level stakeholders.\nSelf-motivated, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong foundation in network engineering, including TCP/UDP, VLANS, subnetting, firewalls, NAT/PAT, OSI model, and cybersecurity best practices.\nAdvanced knowledge of IT systems: servers, databases, storage, operating systems, HL7/DICOM interfaces, and cloud services.\nProven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.\nExperience building and presenting architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and RFI/RFP responses.\nFamiliarity with hospital IT processes, healthcare technology trends, and industry regulations.\nEducation & Certifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or 8+ years equivalent technical experience (preferably in medical device or healthcare IT).\nProfessional certifications preferred: MCSE, CCNA, CWNA, CWSP, CompTIA Network+/Security+.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing complex projects end-to-end.\nFamiliarity with hospital IT environments and regulated medical settings.\nExperience with complaint handling and compliance requirements.\nKnowledge of network security infrastructure, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.\nThis can be based out of Sunnyvale,CA or Atlanta,GA\n Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
