We have attracted some of the best and brightest on our team and now\nwe are seeking a\nda Vinci® Field Service Engineer II manage Customer Technical Relations\nafter the point of Sale on All Intuitive Surgical Products, in an assigned territory. This position will\nrequire you to work independently, manage and prioritize technical escalations, and establish and\nmaintain expectations with both the direct customer and other Intuitive surgical employees.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nBecome a\nda Vinci® Surgical technical expert across all system platforms.\nAnalyze customer’s requirements to ensure effective system installation by providing Pre\nsite Planning and Installation Coordination with the customer.\nAbility to autonomously manage and schedule both planned and unplanned\nappointments with Customers to ensure maximum system reliability, functionality and that\nUptime Guarantees are achieved. Assess and determine follow up visits to ensure\nmaximum system reliability.\nUse discretion and independent judgment when assessing the functionality and Repairing\nIntuitive Surgical products.\nAbility to identify, make recommendations, and or provide feedback to Product Support\nand Product Engineering on Product or process enhancements that addresses customer\nconcerns.\nUse discretion and independent judgment when assessing customer training needs with\nrespect to technical training in an Operating Room environment, and provide both\ntechnical training and or technical support as required.\nIndependently manage all administrative duties of role which include but are not limited\nto; Spare Parts Inventory, Returned Material Authorizations, Calibrated Equipment,\nTraining Documentation, Preventative Maintenance Scheduling, Service Contracts\nBillings, System Configurations, and data in Call Escalation database.\nSupport Sales Training and Marketing events by analyzing potential issues and develop\nindependent strategies to resolve\n Skill/Job Requirements:\nCollege degree in applied science or engineering preferred; or equivalent\ntraining/experience which may include extensive course work or study in the field of\nengineering or applied science\n3-7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer required, experience with medical\ndevices preferred\nStrong written and oral communication skills\nGood interpersonal skills\nGood administrative and record keeping skills\nGood knowledge of Operating Room protocol\nTrack record of solid customer relationships with Surgeons and Hospital staff\nWell versed at presenting the value proposition of Intuitive Surgical’s service offerings\nProven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems\nAn ability to travel up to 25%, dependent upon account distribution\nAble to lift 37 Kgs.\nIntuitive is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
