The work is challenging, but deeply meaningful-because every improvement we make has the potential to change a life.\nIf you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, you’ll find your purpose here.\n Primary Function of the Position\nThe Learning Content Designer is responsible for developing engaging learning materials that meet defined learning objectives, use appropriate training modalities and methods, and follow established processes and adult learning principles.\nEssential Job Duties\nUpon onboarding and completing required qualifications, the Learning Content Designer will:\nAnalyze role-specific learner needs and tasks to craft measurable learning objectives\nCollaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) within the team and business to develop new or update existing learning content\nProactively manage the content development process including milestones, risks, review cycles, feedback implementation, and quality assurance\nManage and monitor deliverables throughout the implementation, translation, and launch process, providing regular status updates to project teams (including LC&S, Regional CL teams, and appropriate business stakeholders)\nEvaluate learning content using qualitative and quantitative methods to drive design/development improvements and workflow efficiencies\nConduct technical/clinical training and sign-offs and train-the-trainers.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n3-7 yrs. relevant professional experience\nAbility to sign-off on applicable technical and/or clinical content\nExperience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, and assessments\nDelivery of training in a professional or classroom setting\nDemonstrated application of adult learning theory, analysis tools and process, evaluation tools and models, assessment best practices, and learning objective construction\nExcellent written and interpersonal communication skills\nExperience working and collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to create robust content solutions\nAbility to self-manage and prioritize multiple development projects and deadlines, and adapt to project changes\nAbility to present clear solutions that drive alignment and cross-functional buy-in\nAbility to work with instructional design processes, tools, and templates\nStrong organizational skills\nExcellent attention to detail\nMust provide work samples and/or portfolio\nRequired Education and Training\nMinimum college degree required (Instructional Design, Education, or Science/Engineering degree preferred)\nSoftware proficiency:\no Articulate Rise\no Articulate Storyline\no Camtasia\no MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)\no QuestionMark\no QStream\no Workfront or equivalent project management tool\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nMinimum 1-2 years of experience in biotech or medical device organization preferred\nCurriculum Development or Instructional Design/Technology master’s degree preferred\nAdobe Creative Cloud proficiency preferred\nDue to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
