Define budget of the department and execute as planned. This position requires minimal to no supervision.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nLead initiatives focused on yield improvement, material cost reduction, capacity enhancement, and outsourcing of assemblies.\nEvaluate and challenge mechanism designs for process reliability, serviceability and manufacturability. Provide suggested change proposals.\nCreating budget estimates for tooling, test equipment, prototype designs, and first article activities.\nEnsure the processes meet the specified requirements for operation including adherence to parameters, specifications avoiding variations in the manufacturing process.\nProvides technical support analyzing and /or performing failure analysis for discrepant production components, assemblies and field returns.\nQualify, document and introduce production processes.\nTake responsibility for developing and maintaining compliance with the quality system.\nEvaluate and select suppliers for mechanical parts. Help resolve supplier quality issues.\nMust possess strong communication skills to interface with suppliers, product development, planning, purchasing, regulatory, inspection, customer support and clinical marketing organizations.\nPerforms other duties as required.\nTravel: Position may require 5-10% travel, primarily within U.S.\nDrive our Culture Strategy by fostering our mission, founding principles, individual and leadership expectations.\n Required\n Manufacturing Engineering Manager background required \nMinimum 3 years of direct people management experience within Manufacturing Engineering, including performance management, coaching, employee development and prioritization of engineering resources.\nStrong experience supporting sustaining manufacturing in a mid/high-volume complex manufacturing environment.\nStrong NPI processes and project execution experience.\nStrong product/line transfer experience is mandatory.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, NPI and other supporting functions.\nDemonstrated Mechanical and/or Process Engineering technical capability.\nStrong experience in root cause analysis, corrective actions, process improvement and problem solving.\nExperience with process/equipment validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ/PPQ).\nDemonstrated ownership of manufacturing KPIs such as Yield, Quality, Throughput, Capacity, Scrap/Cost and Equipment Performance.\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize multiple competing business needs, drive accountability and deliver results through a team.\nStrong communication and escalation skills with the ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.\nBS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.\nMedical Device manufacturing experience strongly preferred.\nPreferred:\nMS degree in an Engineering discipline.\n7-8+ years of Manager Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience.\nFDA 21 CFR 820 / ISO 13485 experience.\nExperience with PFMEA, DOE, statistical methods and process capability.\nAutomation/equipment and fixture development experience.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.\nExperience taking products/processes through development, validation, launch, transfer and sustaining\n Intuitive es un empleador que brinda igualdad de oportunidades de empleo.
