WI’s) and the quality standards applicable to the medical industry, to guarantee the integrity of the finished product.\nEssential Job Duties\nApply engineering concepts to the optimization of manufacturing and packaging processes to achieve better process performance.\nReview the daily status of the packaging processes of entire plant.\nProvide support to the production lines due to problems related to packaging processes when required by the engineer owner of the line.\nAnalyze quality notifications (NCR’s, PL’s, EE’s) related to the packaging process to determine provisions for the root cause, their resolution and closure in the SAP system.\nParticipate in the implementation of line transfers or introduction of new products (NPI’s) related to packaging processes.\nIdentify parameters and critical packaging process windows (time, pressure, temperature, etc.) through design of experiments (DOE).\nPerform IQOQPQ and PPQ related to their design, redesign or integration of new or existing packaging processes.\nDevelop the process flow for integration into the production line (travelers / WI’s / BOM’s).\nDesign and / or modify flows for work in progress (WIP) of packaging establishing the handling of material between stations.\nInteract with suppliers for matters related to packaging (Supply, SCR’s PPQPs, etc.).\nDevelop continuous improvement projects in the packaging manufacturing process to improve efficiency and reduce costs.\n Required Skills and Experience\nMinimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in relevant packaging and / or manufacturing/process experience.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEnglish 80% read, written, and spoken.\nDemonstrated experience in validation processes (IQOQPQ and PPQ).\nKnowledge of packaging manufacturing equipment (FFS, tray sealers, laser markers, etc.).\nReading and interpretation of engineering drawings.\nCAD and SolidWorks proficient.\nGeometrical Dimension and Tolerances (GD&T) is a plus.\nExperience with Microsoft Office programs.\nRequired Education and Training\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar preferred.\nTravel: Position may require 5% travel, primarily within the United States.\nWorking Conditions\nNone\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nKnowledge of packaging processes activities is a plus to the position.\n Intuitive es un empleador que brinda igualdad de oportunidades de empleo.
