The work is challenging, but deeply meaningful-because every improvement we make has the potential to change a life.\nIf you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, you’ll find your purpose here.\n Primary Function of Position:\nEnsure Equipment, Fixture and Toolings are calibrated before their due date, according\nto current DOP to assure any Equipment, Fixture or Tooling are available for\nmanufacturing or inspection of any accessories or products manufactured on the site.\nExecutes Preventive Maintenance on time and according to SAP and/or Agile system.\nSupport on Unplanned Maintenance on timely manner and escalate to Engineering any\nrepair not covered by PMC documentation or MPI. Reports any equipment or fixture with\nlow productivity to be evaluated or fixed.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nSafety: Follows GMPs and wears safety equipment to perform his/her endeavors\nParticipates on Safety commission when required and/or safety training\nUtilize the correct tooling and equipment according to process or PMC requirement,\nreporting any condition of wear off or damaged tooling or equipment\nEscalates any safety issues with supervisor or manager\nFollows 5S methodology on his areas\nReports any safety device on equipment that is fault or is suspicious of been\ndamaged\nQuality: Performs PM or Calibration before it expires (due date)\nand records it’s results on SAP\nUtilize raw materials (when required) to check equipment, fixture or tooling\nperformance\nFollow up / fulfil EE’s to be loaded into SAP system after PM or Calibration during\nunplanned PM or Calibration\nDocument and execute LOTO process during OOT events\nRecords Asset on SAP and label it, for any EFT after PM or Calibration is performed\nRecords on Quality Notifications that require an EE describing problem and\nverification results\nPerforms and records PM to equipment, fixture or tooling on any top level EFT and\nperipheral assets of such EFT\nEfficiency: Provide support to external calibration services or suppliers explaining\nrequirements or issues with EFTs under service or calibration\nRequires ECOs to Engineering Department or QO Engineer to update or modify\nany PMC document that not comply current PMC activities or equipment use\nPerforms installation, diagnostic, repair and maintenance to process equipment,\ntooling or fixtures that procedures indicate it require\nUpdate files with daily activities\nLead or participates on Continuous Improvement projects, kaizen or just do it events\nCreates purchasing request (PR’s) for spare parts\nEscalates excessive consumption of spare parts\nCost: Sustain and maintain measurement equipment and tooling under his/her\nresponsibility or ISI Property\nCalculate spare parts over consumption due to uptime improvements or production\nincremental in number of cycles per equipment or more production lines\nPeople: Study and records all assigned curriculum by ISU (Intuitive Surgical\nUniversity)\nCreates self evaluation for CIP and MERIT Follows ISI Politic, Rules and code of\nconduct\nProvide support to production and/or Engineering during equipment and/or process\nvalidation\nProductivity: Review and complete PM to EFT (Equipment,\nFixture or Tool) before it’s due date in SAP Realize PM or Calibration following EFT\ndocumentation in Agile\nSupports unplanned PM documenting on EE\nComply with PM’s and calibrations required on daily bases and defined cycle time\nSelf-sufficient on knowledge according to Table 1 for\nSkills, Experience, Education, & Training:\nSchool Level: Technical studies, Professional studies or Professional studies for\nat least 2 years Electro mechanic, electronic or Mechanical Engineer or similar\nLanguages: English 40% Written, reading, understanding -30% Speaking-\nSystems knowledge: Microsoft office intermediate SAP intermediate SolidWorks\nbasic - Desirable -\nLabor Experience: Preventive Maintenance 1 year\nMechanical Engineer or similar - No experience required -\nSkills: Use of instrumentation and measurement equipment 1 year\nUnderstanding of equipment and drawings blue prints\nBasic electronic knowledge\nDiagnosis and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment 6 months\nIntuitive es un empleador que brinda igualdad de oportunidades de empleo.
