The\ndepartment plays a vital role in product and process quality supporting commercial\nproduction for all da Vinci™ Surgical System product lines including system\nplatforms, endoscopic instrumentation and supporting accessories.\nThe Quality Engineer 3 (QE) works with a team of dedicated individuals\nsupporting manufacturing operations to assure quality of finished product and\nidentify quality issues related to electrical, mechanical and software subsystems.\nThe QE evaluates product quality issues, performs root cause analysis, identifies\nremedial actions, and follows up to ensure all actions are completed satisfactorily\nprior to resolution and closure.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nDevelops and validates quality assurance procedures, sampling plans, methods,\nequipment, and processes.\nMonitors manufacturing procedures, processes and records for compliance with\nestablished requirements.\nEvaluates deviations and non-conformances and supports resolution of quality\nissues.\nSupports process validation and verification.\nReviews and trends product and process quality issues using data analysis and\nroot cause investigation.\nResponds to quality escalations and provides technical support for\ntroubleshooting and testing.\nPerform risk analysis and determines quality disposition for variance requests and\nnon-conformances.\nRepresents the department cross-functionally in meetings that may include senior\nand external personnel.\nReleases process and document changes through engineering change orders\nand deviations using ISI change control process.\nEscalates to direct management all quality issues that could impact patient safety\nor surgical efficacy.\nEnsures successful, on-time completion of department projects, communicates\nconstraints to direct management when successful project completion is at risk.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by management.\n Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:\nEnglish Level: High.\nDemonstrated interest in medical devices, and the medical field.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences.\nDemonstrated understanding of medical device QMS requirements and\nregulatory requirements, including but not limited to FDA.\nCFR 21 820 and ISO 13485.\nDemonstrated understanding of engineering change controls, process\nverification and validation, and production and process controls in a medical\ndevice environment.\nExperience with developing and maintaining Standard Operating\nProcedures and Work Instructions.\nAbility to learn quickly and understand complex products and processes.\nAnalytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Integrity:\nAccepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal dealing with\nothers values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with\nothers.\nAbility to work independently and handle tasks with competing priorities\neffectively.\n1-5 years relevant experience in a medical device company (preferred).\nExperience with Agile/ACCS and SAP or other electronic documentation\nsystems (Desired).\nParticipation in internal /external audits conducted (preferred).\nWork experience with highly complicated electromechanical devices\n(Desired).\n Intuitive es un empleador que brinda igualdad de oportunidades de empleo.
