Safeguard and protect the employees and assets of the company.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nSecures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points\nEnsure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques\nPrevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informs violations to the security policies and procedures\nCompletes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, incidents, and surveillance activities\nMaintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements\nConducts internal and external surveillance rounds in the facilities with the objective of detecting and reporting suspicious behavior, unsafe acts, incidents, risks and emergencies\nMeets the requirements and/or support that the company needs\nFollows procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and incident investigations\nContribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed\nKeeps fences and doors closed at all time to prevent intrusions and/or incidents\nConducts random security inspections to persons and/or vehicles that enter and exit the installations\nEscort personnel inside and/or outside the facilities\nControls the entry and exit of assets\nControl and management of keys and locks\nIt ensures that all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes)\nAssist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have\nEscalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed\nVerifies security conditions in buildings by inspecting offices, rooms, doors and windows, adequate lighting conditions, covering areas to prevent and detect theft, fire, misuse of equipment, unauthorized access, among others\nControl of traffic by directing drivers\nRemains in compliance with local, state and federal regulations\nProtect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues\nProvides support in case of emergency situations (emergency response)\nComplies with the specific activities of the position and/or security policies, procedures, work instructions and forms\nReports to the immediate superior the activation of alarms of the electric fence, security sensors and/or fire system\nReports to the immediate superior any damage detected on walls, cyclonic mesh, bars, gates, doors, CCTV cameras, electric fence, security sensors, fire system, lampposts and lighting system during surveillance rounds to repair it immediately\nReports to the immediate superior any damage and/or malfunction of equipment, programs, systems and/or work tools\nMaintains control of the badges issue to contractors, new entry, suppliers and visitors\nRegister all the people who arrive at the facility (contractors, suppliers, visitors, new entry)\nMonitors the building’s perimeter video surveillance system in order to detect suspicious behavior, unsafe acts, intrusions and/or criminal activity\nProperly use of the security equipment assigned (portable radio, cellphone, telephone extension, and/or electronic devices)\nAdhere to all operating standards of the company\nReport any anomaly and/or incident to the immediate superior and/or patrimonial security representative\nAct according to all policies, procedures and regulations established by the company\nIdentify potential security risks and respond accordingly.\n Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:\nSkills: written and verbal communication, following complex instructions, interpersonal skills, manage multiple tasks, surveillance skills, dependability, judgment, objectivity, emotional control, integrity, loyal, work under pressure, follow instructions, attention to detail, good physical condition and health\nExperience: 1 year in an industrial environment\nEducation: High school qualification or equivalent\nTraining and/or knowledge: basic security, safety, CTPAT and AEO security programs, inspections, handling of fire extinguishers, basic first aid, risk prevention, office basic/intermediate level, use of radio, customer service\n Intuitive es un empleador que brinda igualdad de oportunidades de empleo.
