The work is challenging, but deeply meaningful-because every improvement we make has the potential to change a life.\nIf you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, you’ll find your purpose here.\n Primary Function of Position:\nThe Senior Tax Analyst will be a key member of Intuitive's global tax operations team, assisting in the global tax provision and tax compliance functions, as well as supporting the transformation of the tax function to scale for growth, which includes tax technology adoption, process simplification and standardization, and effective use of data and technology.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nSupport the U.S. federal tax compliance function, including preparation of the federal income tax return, extensions and payments, and review of tax return forms. \nSupport the worldwide tax provision function, including preparation of book-to-tax differences, supporting workpapers, tax account reconciliations, return-to-provision adjustments, and other related items. \nCalculate book-to-tax differences and maintain related deferred tax balances, including those associated with stock-based compensation (NQSOs, RSUs, ESPP, etc.). \nCalculate and maintain book-to-tax differences for fixed assets and intangible assets, and prepare related reconciliations for quarterly and annual tax provision and tax return purposes. \nAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures, including, but not limited to, recording tax accruals and other tax-related journal entries using SAP. \nPerform tax-related accounting procedures, including, but not limited to, analysis of new GL accounts and cost centers. \nWork closely with FP&A, Accounting, and other Finance stakeholders to gather and reconcile data required to prepare the corporate income tax provision and returns. \nMaintain process documentation and adhere to established controls and procedures. \nEvaluate and leverage AI tools and automation solutions to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of tax compliance, provision, and reporting processes. \nPerform technical tax and accounting research and assist in analyzing the impact of tax law changes. \nAssist with other tax operations projects, as necessary. \n Required Skills and Experience\nMinimum of 3 years of experience working on corporate tax returns and tax provisions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nStrong project management and collaboration skills. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a learning mindset. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nThis role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.\nRequired Education and Training\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or a related field.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nBig Four experience is preferred\nExperience with AI tools is highly preferred (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies)\nExperience with Corptax and SAP is a plus\nExperience with Alteryx and Tableau is a plus\n#WeAreIntuiitive #LI-HYBRID\n Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
