He/\nshe will ensure compliance with applicable company policies and regulations\nwhile ensuring the expeditious flow of international trade. This individual will\nsupport the organization at a tactical and operational level and advises\nmanagement on strategics initiatives.\nEssential Job Duties\nImport & Export Trade Compliance\nPerform import/export activities in compliance with government regulations, organizational policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.\nManage compliance with preferential and non-preferential trade programs and issue certificates as applicable.\nSubmit and monitor import/export permit and license applications as needed.\nProvide import and export compliance training to cross-functional teams.\nSupport global and regional compliance projects and programs.\nCustoms, Tariffs & Regulatory Programs\nManage issues related to:Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification\nCountry of Origin determinations\nCustoms valuation\nExport Control Classification Numbers (ECCN)\nAnti-dumping regulations\nDuty drawback and duty suspension programs\nOther governmental programs providing import/export exemptions\n\nOversee Customs reconciliation and anti-boycott programs.\nManage Miscellaneous Tariff Bill activities, including product eligibility reviews and petition filings.\nMonitor global trade policy developments and regulatory changes, including Section 301 tariffs.\nSupport Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) implementation and annual validation activities.\nRegulatory Research & Business Support\nResearch customs and regulatory requirements for new destination markets, including:Product classifications\nImport licenses\nCustoms valuation\nDocumentation requirements\nImport and export restrictions\n\nCommunicate regulatory requirements and impacts to business stakeholders.\nProvide support to company sites, suppliers, and customers to strengthen compliance programs and capabilities.\nData Management, Systems & Process Improvement\nAudit and maintain trade compliance data governance within SAP, product databases, and compliance record systems.\nPartner with IT and the Center of Excellence (COE) to improve import/export compliance data and system capabilities.\nDefine business requirements, support testing activities, and assist with implementation of compliance solutions.\nAssist in the development and maintenance of operational processes and procedures to improve workflow efficiency and compliance effectiveness.\nCompliance Programs, Audits & Risk Management\nConduct internal risk assessments and report findings.\nDevelop and monitor Compliance Improvement Plans.\nCreate and maintain:Trade compliance manuals\nPolicies and procedures\nStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nCompliance guidelines\n\nAssist in developing Intuitive audit guidelines to:Monitor customer and order
