This person is directly responsible for assembling prototypes and providing feedback to the engineering and manufacturing teams. In addition, the person will assist with maintaining tooling, fixtures, and a safe, clean, and well-organized engineering lab space.\nA strong sense of shared responsibility and shared reward is required as well as a commitment to high product quality.\nEssential Job Duties\nServe as primary support for assembling complex mechanical-electrical prototypes\nTrack build issues and document manufacturing processes\nProvide assembly process feedback to the engineering team\nTrain, mentor support technicians\nOrganize and maintain inventory in an R&D environment\nMaintain a safe, clean and organized engineering lab\n Required Skills, Experience, Education and Training\nMinimum 7 years of engineering technician or equivalent work experience\nHigh school GED or Associate degree preferred\nExperience working with electrical-mechanical components, wiring and assemblies\nExperience working with machines, hand and power tools.
