The work is challenging, but deeply meaningful-because every improvement we make has the potential to change a life.\nIf you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, you’ll find your purpose here.\n Primary Function of Position\nAs Sr.Manager, IT - Manufacturing applications, you will lead a team responsible for driving the design, development, and integration of manufacturing applcation solutions and associated applications.\nThis role will also work closely with senior leadership and peers across Intuitive's manufacturing operations and IT organization.\nEssential Job Duties\nReview current business application and solution landscape to develop Manufacturing solutions roadmap in the areas of Plant to make, Engineering to execution, Quality and Factory automation functions\nProvide leadership in functional design, implementation, and support of the Manufacturing and product quality applications.\nOperate as a trusted IT partner and IT applications leader for operations business functions.\nWork with key business stakeholders to analyze requirements and assess impact of use cases, to ensure the solution will produce desired business outcomes.\nInvestigate, research and evaluate new applications and/or technologies and application integrations that will improve business productivity.\nBuilding business case and estimate, clearly setting expectation with business on scope and timeline\nEngage with vendors to determine solutions that best fit to the manufacturing solutions roadmap\nEnsure that solution architecture designed by solution architects and analysts are scalable and in sync with business needs.\nPerform deep analysis to translate complex business information to actionable system activities; recommend best practices; and present associated technical process components.\nCoaches other team members with design and thought leadership to achieve organizational goals.\nInteract on a day-to-day basis with other analysts, business leadership, SME and IT team members to support business operations and drive change management.\nFacilitate change management and transition to future state working with various stakeholders.\nIdentify and participate in prioritization of business capabilities and act as a catalyst for building mature and scalable processes.\nCoaching and teaching: Teaches reports to perform current job tasks and provides coaching and development for 1-2 years out\nAccountability: Accountable for team goals and for other managers and individuals on the team - creative in succeeding\nPersonal commitment: Recognizes potential team issues, proposed solutions, and gains commitment of team and other peer managers.\nBuild high performance Organization: Hires, trains, develops teams and other managers.\n Required Skills and Experience\nExperience implementing SAP S4, MES applications in a medical device or high-tech manufacturing industry are required.\nMinimum 12+ years of Implementing Planning systems is required.\n5+ years of experience as a people leader is required.\nIn depth knowledge of business processes in the areas of Manufacturing execution, inventory control, product quality and engineering to execution.\nExperience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management) is desired.\nExperience in medical device manufacturing or life sciences industry is preferred.\nExcellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization.\nRequired Education and Training\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required\nWorking Conditions\nNone\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nSAP functional skills\nPMP certification\nCPIM or CSCP - preferred\nMES skills\n Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
