This position will remain open for application based on business need, which may be before or after the 3-day posting window.\nJob Description\nAbout The Site\nThe Sheldon Energy Center is a 112.5 MW wind power generation facility utilizing GE 1.5 MW SLE WTG turbine technology. Marsh Hill Energy Center is a 16 MW wind power generation facility utilizing GE 1.6-100 WTG turbine technology. Orangeville Energy Center is a wind power generation and energy storage facility located in Strykersville, NY.\nPosition Overview \nAs an Operations & Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for managing Sheldon Wind, Marsh Hill Wind, Orangeville Wind and Battery Storage Energy Centers.\nResponsibilities\nResponsive and able to manage to deliverables and contractual obligations, while interfacing with varying parties internally and externally with competing interests.\nPrepare and implement operating procedures, complying with company, customer, and industry standards, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local requirements.\nOperate and maintain high voltage electrical equipment through known maintenance practices.\nClimb wind turbine towers, on a limited basis, wearing all required safety equipment, to inspect equipment.\nUnderstand electrical and mechanical functions as well as engineering drawings of all components in the Balance of Plant system.\nMaintain inventory, tooling, facilities, equipment and parts.\nIdentify, document, and communicate opportunities for operational and quality improvements.\nObtain, compile and analyze information to properly identify course of action for proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs.\nProvide a high level of professionalism and technical expertise, while working with minimal oversight.\nAssist in the preparation of proposals, budgets, labor costs and reports. \nEvaluation and supervision of contractor scope, proposals, and repair work.\nPerform required inspections and reporting in a professional and effective manner. \nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nA minimum of six (6) months of supervisory experience\nComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills.\nKnowledge of 34.5 kV and 345 kV systems including but not limited to; protection relays, padmount transformers, fault identification, maintenance requirements, NERC, OSHA and Electrical Safety requirements.\nExperience utilizing CMMS system to maintain equipment records and reporting.\nKnowledge and experience with high voltage tooling and protective equipment.\nMust be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet).\nAbility to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds).\nWeight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks\nValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.\nAble and willing to travel up to 25%.\nThis is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company.\nBase Pay\n$115,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD Annual\nBonus: 10% - 40%\nThe base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
