This position will remain open for application based on business need, which may be before or after the 3-day posting window.\nJob Description\nAbout the Site\nThe Samson /Delilah Solar Energy Center located in Bogata, TX is a 1300 MW-AC solar powered generation facility utilizing TMEIC inverters, NEXTracker trackers with 5 attached substation. Three of the 5 planned phases are in or entering operations with the remaining two currently under construction.\nPosition Overview\nAs an Operations & Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for managing the Two of the Phases for the Samson/ Delilah Solar Energy Center in partnership with existing site Management for cohesive operations of the whole complex\nResponsibilities\nManage all aspects of the day to day operation of the facility in a safe and environmentally sound manner.\nPrepare and implement plant operating and maintenance procedures ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and Local requirements.\nRecruit, select, train and manage plant operating, maintenance and administrative staff.\nPrepare annual operating budgets and periodic status reports.\nInterface and coordinate with local customers and suppliers.\nProcure parts, materials, services and support resolution of technical issues.\nEnsure compliance with all project safety, environmental and contractual responsibilities.\nProvide a high level of professionalism and technical expertise.\nPerform routine Quality Assurance checks of solar technician work.\nAssist solar technicians from time to time in various solar maintenance and troubleshooting activities.\nRequired Skills\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nA minimum of six (6) months of supervisory experience.\nComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills.\nMust be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb portable ladders without assistance\nThis position may require the ability to remotely manage new projects within a region, so candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% as business needs warrant.\nWilling to work nights during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities\nAbility to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds).\nValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.\nEligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nPreferred Education and/or Work Experience\nExperience in power generation facilities\nExperience with PV maintenance, including DC systems, AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring\nExperience with the operation of various SCADA systems\nSkilled in the use of testing equipment and tools such as Thermographic Electrical Inspection, I-V Curve Tracing, Meggers, and Ground Fault Detection\nStrong Analytical and Diagnostic capabilities to troubleshoot and correct problems found\nKnowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA, and other standard practices\nAbility to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams / schematics\nThis is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company.\nBase Pay\n$115,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD Annual\nBonus: 20%\nThe base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
