Invenergy employees are inclusive and welcoming of all colleagues of all backgrounds, genders, races, sexual orientations, religions and abilities.\nAbout the Site\nThe Bishop Hill III Energy Center is a 132 MW wind power generation facility located in Andover, IL utilizing GE 2.5 turbine technology.\nPosition Overview\nAs an Operations & Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for managing the Bishop Hill III Energy Center.\nResponsibilities\nManage all aspects of the day to day operation of the facility in a safe and environmentally sound manner.\n\nPrepare and implement plant operating and maintenance procedures ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and Local requirements.\n\nRecruit, select, train and manage plant operating, maintenance and administrative staff.\n\nPrepare annual operating budgets and periodic status reports.\n\nInterface and coordinate with local customers and suppliers.\n\nProcure parts, materials, services and support resolution of technical issues.\n\nEnsure compliance with all project safety, environmental and contractual responsibilities.\n\nProvide a high level of professionalism and technical expertise.\n\nPerform routine Quality Assurance checks of technician work.\n\nAssist technicians from time to time in various aspects of maintenance.\n\nRequired Skills\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\nA minimum of six (6) months of supervisory experience\n\nComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office software\n\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills\n\nMust be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet)\n\nWeight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks\n\nValid driver’s license and acceptable driving record\n\nEligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future\n\nPreferred Education and/or Work Experience\nTechnical degree\n\nExperience in power generation facilities\n\n10 years of experience in a manufacturing or skilled trade environment\n\nThis is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company.\nBase Pay\n$115,000.00 - $155,000.00 USD Annual\nBonus: 20%\nThe base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.\nIn addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
