This position will remain open for application based on business need, which may be before or after the 3-day posting window.\nJob Description\nPosition Overview\nThe Data Analyst, Operations Engineering primarily provides technical support to a large Solar and Storage operating fleet by transforming data into actionable insights & business intelligence, optimizing fleet performance, and guiding data-driven decisions.\nCore Responsibilities\nCurate metrics, KPI’s, and reports that transform equipment information into operational intelligence.\nClean and process raw data to remove outliers, errors, and inconsistencies.\nTransform data into suitable formats for analysis and reporting.\nDesign and maintain reports, dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights to stakeholders.\nCollaborate closely with operations engineering, asset management, and site management teams to build tools to detect and diagnose underperformance issues.\nManage recurring metric reporting processes and identify actionable items.\nPerform ad-hoc analyses to quantify energy and revenue impact from operational events.\nModel expected performance scenarios under various operational decisions.\nModel performance impact of software and hardware upgrades.\nSupport regulatory reporting requirements such as NERC GADS.\nUtilize the Aveva PI system tools to create real time analyses.\nRequired Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. \n2+ years of experience working with operational, industrial, or renewable energy asset data in an analytics, engineering, or performance monitoring role. \nFamiliarity with Excel and Microsoft Office.\nStrong communication skills.\nAttention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nExcellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities.\nPreferred Skills\nFamiliarity with the Aveva PI software suite.\nFamiliarity with database environments & query languages (SQL preferred).\nProficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.\nPython or other programming experience.\nExperience with solar modeling tools such as PVSyst.\nBase Pay\n$77,000.00 - $98,000.00 USD Annual\nBonus: 0% - 15%\nThe base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
