The team consists of global engineers supporting key Technology solutions.\nAbout the Role:\nThis position will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying visually appealing and highly interactive business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.\nThe incumbent would work withBusiness Analysts and key stakeholders to analyze the data and reporting requirements, understand the business needs, ensure data accuracy, and recommend and deliver insightful dashboards and reports that support decision-making processes.\nResponsibilities of the Role:\nThe focus of the role is to develop Power BI reports that are user friendly and visually impactful\nIncorporate native and GenAI/ML data analysis features of Power BI to translate data into insights and highlight actionable KPIs\nDevelop UI/UX and design language for various Technology reporting themes\nDevise and implement design principles and ensure all reports adhere to these principles\nTranslate business requirements into documented navigation flows and wireframes\nTake a simplistic and self-explanatory approach to reporting interface to ensure answers to questions asked by Business Partners are clear and evident\nAbility to self-manage, by understanding customer needs and converting them into deliverables \nUtilize full potential of Power BI by incorporating the latest features and updates \nServe as the Power BI subject matter expert for a dedicated Technology Infrastructure team.\nImplement row level security and manage access to reports and workspaces\nWork with Business Analysts to review and prioritize requirements and track to completion\nExtract data from multiple data sources by configuring Power BI gateways and using M scripting to connect and refresh the data. \nWrite complex DAX statements and utilize R to manipulate and analyze data\nAbility to work with large structured and unstructured datasets\nSpecial projects as assigned\nRequirements of the Role:\nThree plus years of experience with Microsoft BI Stack \nAt least two years of Power BI reporting experience\nComprehensive design experience with knowledge of common design tools such as Photoshop\nHands on experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel\nThe salary range for this position in Charlottetown is $52,000 - $58,000 CAD/year.
