Production Support\nProvide day-to-day support for business applications and resolve client-reported issues in a timely and professional manner.\nInvestigate, diagnose, and resolve application, data, and system-related incidents.\nMonitor application health, system performance, and batch processing activities to ensure service availability and reliability.\nPerform regular system checks and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.\nCoordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex production issues.\nData Management & Monitoring\nIntermediate SQL skills with an understanding of relational databases, data models, and database concepts.\nBasic to intermediate programming or scripting knowledge (Python preferred).\nBasic understanding of ETL and ELT processes, job scheduling tools (e.g., AutoSys, UAC), and data pipeline operations, with the ability to support troubleshooting and issue resolution under the guidance of senior engineers.\nAbility to support routine production operations and assist in resolving data processing and batch scheduling issues.\nFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and batch processing is a plus\nExposure to cloud technologies such as Snowflake, AWS Services, or Informatica Cloud is a plus.\nSystem Enhancements & Upgrades\nAssist in application releases, upgrades, and system enhancements.\nParticipate in testing activities, validate functionality changes, and support user acceptance testing.\nSupport implementation of small enhancements and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nInternship, academic project, or prior experience in data engineering, ETL development, application support, or software development is preferred.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.\nAbility to manage assigned tasks effectively and deliver quality work within established timelines.\nDemonstrates attention to detail, accountability, and a commitment to operational excellence.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with team members, business partners, and support teams in on-call, after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.\nExposure to the Financial Services industry is highly desirable.\nExperience with automation, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\nEquivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.\nWorking Conditions\nHybrid work model with 4 days per week in the office.\nFlexibility to support business-critical applications outside normal business hours when required.\nParticipation in evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call support
