The role drives operational excellence, financial accountability, service reliability, asset optimization, workforce productivity, and strategic decision-making through scalable engineering solutions and data-driven insights.\nResponsibilities of the Role:\nIntelligent Automation & AI Engineering\n\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy RPA workflows and AI/ML models to automate complex business processes across multiple teams.\n\nDesign, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale automation solutions supporting cloud, infrastructure, service management, asset management, and cloud financial operations.\n\nBuild AI-powered workflows, copilots, and intelligent agents that automate routine operational activities and improve decision-making.\n\nDevelop reusable automation frameworks, APIs, integrations, and self-service capabilities across technology platforms.\n\nLeverage machine learning, generative AI, and predictive analytics to identify risks, anomalies, optimization opportunities, and operational trends.\n\nEstablish development standards, testing practices, security controls, and governance processes for automation and AI solutions.\n\nRequirements of the Role:\nSolid Experience: Minimum 6-9 years of progressive experience in automation engineering, software development, or a related technical discipline, with at least 3 years focused on RPA, AI/ML, or intelligent automation solutions.\n\nAI/ML Engineering: Practical experience building and deploying AI/ML models using frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Azure AI services.\n\nSoftware Engineering: Strong programming skills in Python, C#, .NET, PowerShell, or similar languages, with experience building REST APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.\n\nDevOps & CI/CD: Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices tailored for automation development and deployment.\n\nCloud Platforms: Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure , Snowflake preferred), including containerization, serverless computing, and cloud-native automation patterns\n\nIntegration & APIs: Experience developing integrations using APIs, middleware, iPaaS solutions, and enterprise service bus technologies, including ServiceNow and ITSM platform integrations.\n\nProblem-Solving & Debugging: Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues across automation workflows, integrations, and AI models.\n\nAgile & Scrum: Experience contributing to Agile ceremonies, managing technical backlog items, and delivering iteratively in cross-functional teams.\n\nCoaching & Guidance: Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering excellence within the team.\n\nDocumentation & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating technical design documents, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and stakeholder-facing presentations.\n\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.\n\nAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline is a plus.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies or cloud platforms, or related certifications, is beneficial.\n\nFull Time / Part Time\nFull timeWorker Type\nEmployeeJob Exempt (Yes / No)\nYesWorkplace Model\nPursuant to Invesco’s Workplace Policy, employees are expected to comply with the firm’s most current workplace model, which as of October 1, 2025, includes spending at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
