The role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant capabilities across global regions while partnering closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and Technology teams to deliver sustainable, cost effective solutions. This position also collaborates with the HR/Payroll product team to design effective and scalable system enhancements.\nAbout the Team:\nYou’ll be part of a highly collaborative, globally focused HR Technology team that owns Workforce Management (WFM) and Payroll solutions at scale. This team serves as the backbone for Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll integrations, partnering closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and Technology to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient solutions across multiple regions.\nThe group operates with a strong architecture-first mindset-designing scalable integrations, driving data quality, and ensuring systems align with complex regulatory and business requirements. Team members play a key role in shaping the future state of Workday capabilities, leading initiatives across integrations, releases, and system enhancements.\nResponsibilities of the Role:\nServe as the domain lead for Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll integrations.\nAct as the primary technical lead for HR/Payroll, third-party vendors, and implementation partners.\nDefine target-state architecture, integration patterns (Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, Extend), and security models aligned to least-privilege principles.\nGovern PECI and all outbound payroll integrations (e.g., ADP, CloudPay, Alight, NGA, local in-country vendors).\nDesign & Delivery\nTranslate complex pay rules and region-specific labor requirements into Workday configuration (time codes, accruals, eligibility rules, time calculations).\nPerform gap analyses and author functional/technical specifications for new or enhanced business processes.\nMaintain documentation for system functionality and cross-functional processes while defining configuration standards, development conventions, and operational playbooks for releases and incident management.\nLead biannual Workday release impact assessments, regression strategies, and feature adoption planning for Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Payroll integrations.\nIntegrations & Data Quality\nDesign robust PECI frameworks including effective-dated logic, retroactivity, error handling, and reconciliation processes.\nEstablish data quality rules and exception handling across HR, WFM, and Payroll ecosystems.\nPartner with Data & Analytics to deliver audit-ready reporting using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Integrations, and Prism.\nCompliance & Controls\nEnsure solution designs comply with FLSA, local labor laws, union CBAs, and global privacy/security standards (GDPR, SOC, SOX as applicable).\nImplement controls for segregation of duties, approvals, retro events, and adjustments.\nMaintain audit documentation, test evidence, and control artifacts.\nRequirements of the Role:\n5-7+ years of Workday experience with strong expertise in Time Tracking, Absence Management, and multi-country Payroll PECI design.\nHands-on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Calculated Fields, and Workday Security.\nExperience with Workday Reporting for the time-tracking, absence and payroll functional areas, and Report-as-a-Service patterns.\nDeep knowledge of effective-dated HR data, retro pay impacts, time valuation, accruals, and eligibility logic.\nExperience with release management, tenant lifecycle governance, and regression testing.\nStrong documentation skills, including solution designs, data mappings, and workflow diagrams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorkday Pro or Partner certifications in Time, Absence, or Integrations (nice to have).\nPayroll expertise across US FLSA, Canadian provincial rules, and EU working time directives.\nBackground in SOX/internal controls and audit readiness.\nCore Competencies:\nArchitectural Thinking: Designs sustainable, scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.\nSystems Integration: Builds resilient, observable integrations with clear error handling.\nProduct Mindset: Delivers solutions focused on value, usability, and maintainability.\nGovernance & Risk: Embeds compliance and controls into solution designs.\nInfluence & Communication: Communicates technical decisions in clear business terms for leadership stakeholders.\nFull Time / Part Time\nFull timeWorker Type\nEmployeeJob Exempt (Yes / No)\nYesWorkplace Model\nPursuant to Invesco’s Workplace Policy, employees are expected to comply with the firm’s most current workplace model, which as of October 1, 2025, includes spending at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
