This position requires advanced computer skills, attention to detail, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment. This role requires the candidate to work a night shift starting 4.30 pm - 1.30 am.\nThe Experience You Bring\nDemonstrated expertise in the Asset Management industry, with a strong understanding of investment products and portfolio management processes.\nSolid knowledge of global markets, including market trends, benchmarks, and Fund return dynamics.\nSkilled in performance measurement and calculations, ensuring accurate evaluation of portfolio returns against benchmarks.\nWorking knowledge of performance calculation, attribution methodologies to analyze sources of return.\nProficient in reporting and data interpretation, delivering clear and actionable insights for stakeholders. \nKey Responsibilities\nProduce, review, and validate investment performance reports across portfolios, composites, funds, and strategies.\nAnalyze portfolio and benchmark returns to identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers.\nInvestigate and resolve complex performance calculation, benchmark, pricing, corporate action, and data quality issues.\nServe as a subject matter expert for performance methodologies, reporting processes, and data governance standards.\nDeliver performance reporting to investment teams, senior management, clients, consultant databases, and regulatory stakeholders.\nProvide analytical support for ad hoc performance inquiries and business initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain reporting controls, quality checks, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.\nLead process improvement and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and scalability.\nPartner with Technology teams on system enhancements, defect resolution, and reporting platform upgrades.\nSupport testing and implementation of system, methodology, benchmark, and reporting changes.\nAssist in training and coaching junior analysts.\nContribute to team projects, and performance team initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with internal control standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.\nWork Experience / Knowledge\n4-6 years of relevant experience in investment management, performance measurement, Attribution, investment operations, financial data analysis, or a related field.\nKnowledge of performance measurement or Attribution is preferred.\nPrepare, interpret, and investigate discrepancies in attribution and contribution reports used for performance analysis.\n General understanding of the investment management industry including various security types.\nInterpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with colleagues across functions, regions, and levels are required.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work effectively with large and complex data sets\nPreferred: Knowledge of investment applications (such as Aladdin, Morning Star, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)\nAssist in constructing and maintaining composites in accordance with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) for assigned portfolios and strategies.\nEnsure performance data is presented accurately and comprehensively across senior management reports, third-party databases, sales materials, and regulatory filings·\nworking knowledge of R, Python, and SQL is as added advantage\nSkills & Attributes\nA friendly professional demeanour and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.\nSelf-driven and shows strong self-initiative to meet deliverables and overcome issues.\nCritical Thinking - ability to look at data and trends and come to new conclusions based on findings.\nAttention to detail - ensure vigilance in the analysis and arrive at right conclusions.\nMust have the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information.The ability to contribute to a team environment is critical.\nAcademic requirements\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.\nProgress toward, or completion of, the CFA or CIPM designation is preferred.\nFull Time / Part Time\nFull time\nWorker Type\nEmployee\nJob Exempt (Yes / No)\nYes\nWorkplace Model\nAt Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
